In this course you will learn the basics of abstract painting and develop your creative potential. Whether you are an experienced artist or just beginning to explore abstract art, I will guide you on your artistic journey.
We will focus on the principles of abstract art, including colour theory, form, structure, line and texture. We will use different materials and techniques to develop your own style and express your artistic personality.
You will learn how to express emotions and feelings in your art and how to create your own style. The course includes practical exercises and creative projects to deepen your understanding and skills in abstract art.

No previous experience required
No previous experience required for this course. If you’ve never painted before, that’s no problem! We will go through the basics of painting step by step and you will progress quickly.
Required materials
You are welcome to bring your own material if you already have it. If not, you can use the available material for a small contribution towards costs. Brushes, easels and paints are provided for you.
If you need canvases, you can get them from me for a small extra charge. If you already have your own canvases, you are of course welcome to bring them along.
I recommend you wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty, as painting is often a bit messy. Everything else you need for the course is provided.
Costs
Per course day CHF 80 (3 hours)
Contribution towards expenses CHF 10 (paints, brushes, etc. without canvases)
